After the examination, the National Testing Agency is expected to release the provisional answer key and candidates’ response sheets on the official website. Candidates will be able to compare their responses with the answer key, calculate their probable score, and raise objections against any answer within the prescribed deadline if required.

Why the Question Paper Is Important

The question paper is useful for analysing the examination immediately after it is conducted. Candidates can identify questions they answered correctly, estimate their expected score before the result, and understand how the paper compares with previous NEET examinations. Coaching institutes and subject experts also use the question paper to prepare detailed solutions, answer keys, and difficulty analysis, helping students evaluate their overall performance.

Future NEET aspirants also benefit from the latest question paper, as it provides insight into the type of questions asked, the balance between conceptual and application-based questions, chapter-wise weightage, and the overall trend followed by the examination. Practising recent question papers is considered one of the most effective ways to understand the examination pattern and improve preparation.
